Steel and reinforced concrete structures for industry

What we do

We work for architectural offices, general contractors and prefabrication plants – from concept design through to shop drawings.

Steel structure of a production hall during erection

Industrial and civil engineering facilities, public and residential buildings. Steel members and reinforcement are defined in a three-dimensional model.

  • Concept and building permit design
  • Tender design
  • Detailed and shop drawings
Finite element analysis model of a support structure

Finite element analysis makes it possible to determine the stress utilisation of the whole structure and of individual members as early as the design stage, and to refine strength, stiffness and durability.

  • Dynamic, seismic and fatigue analysis
  • Computational wind tunnels (CFD)
BIM model of a production building

Revit, Advance Steel and Tekla. Working on a shared model gives continuous insight into the three-dimensional picture of the facility and makes it possible to adapt solutions to how the services actually run – including extensions of existing structures.

  • Multidisciplinary coordination
  • Point clouds and photogrammetry (laser scanning)
  • Revit Server and cloud-based work
Process installations in an existing facility

We have contributed to numerous structural repair designs and we know where problems tend to appear. That experience reduces the risk of inefficient solutions in a project.

  • Design supervision during construction
  • Technical opinions and assessments
  • Repair and strengthening designs

How we work

One model, consistent documentation

Steel members and the reinforcement of concrete elements are defined directly in the three-dimensional structural model. Drawings are generated from that same model – which keeps the issued documentation strictly consistent with it.

Laser scanning instead of guesswork

For refurbishment of existing facilities we use 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry. This gives precise positioning of the designed structures relative to what is already standing – which matters most where services are densely packed.

Quality as a standard, not an extra

Since 2010 we have worked to the rules of the ISO 9001 quality management system. Our designers hold internal auditor qualifications for that system. Clients monitor the progress of their project on an ongoing basis.
