#Ballast system for #photovoltaic installation requires a very careful approach, where it can’t be too heavy yet it must be safe enough to secure it from wind gust. Because of that, the roof needs to be divided into several areas, where ballast must be heavier (corners “F”) and where it can be assumed that PV modules would create #wind shade (areas type “Z”).
